Esta canción es una parodia del llamado "descubrimiento" de las Américas por Cristóbal Colón.
Colón "descubrió" un lugar que ya había estado habitado por nativos americanos durante mucho tiempo. Dylan usa el humor y las imágenes surrealistas para recrear su propio descubrimiento de América antes de Colón.
Al igual que Colón, Dylan y su equipo llegan a estas costas extranjeras buscando reclamarlo como propio, solo para descubrir que ya ha sido reclamado y desarrollado por otra sociedad.
