Interpretación de la letra (La Caverna)
La letra alude, claro, a la flamante reinvención del oriundo de Brixton, pero en realidad es una canción con un mensaje más universal y que aplica a muchos otros contextos. En el caso de su propio autor, el tema revela su crisis de identidad artística y su desencanto con estilos musicales previamente explorados (el pop de su debut, la psicodelia jipi-pacheca de Space Oddity, el hard rock de The Man Who Sold The World).
